At Hello Kids Flamingo Preschool & Day Care Centre in Malad West, Mumbai, we believe children learn best when they learn by doing. Our Entrepreneurship Through Sandwich Shop activity introduced young learners to the basics of entrepreneurship through an engaging, hands-on experience.
🌟 Learning Entrepreneurship Through Play
As part of our preschool entrepreneurship program, children explored what it takes to create and present a simple product. They took part in different stages of the Sandwich Shop activity—selecting ingredients, planning their sandwich, assembling it, presenting it, and serving it.
This fun activity helped children understand simple real-world concepts such as:

The Sandwich Shop was more than a fun food activity. It gave our children an opportunity to experience the basic steps of running a small business in a safe, age-appropriate and playful environment.
They explored questions such as What do we need? How do we make it? Who will buy it? How do we present it? This approach develops an early understanding of planning, collaboration, creativity and responsibility.
