At Hello Kids Flamingo Preschool & Daycare, we make learning exciting through engaging real-life experiences. Our Vegetable Market Role Play Activity transformed the classroom into a vibrant mini vegetable market, where our young learners stepped into the role of confident vegetable vendors and enthusiastic customers.
Dressed in traditional attire and surrounded by a colourful display of fresh vegetables, the children learned to identify different vegetables, understand their nutritional value, and practice simple buying and selling. They explored concepts such as weighing vegetables, counting, sorting, and communicating politely with customers, making the activity both educational and enjoyable.
This hands-on learning experience helped children develop essential life skills while promoting healthy eating habits. By interacting with real vegetables, they improved their observation skills, expanded their vocabulary, and gained confidence in expressing themselves. The activity also introduced early mathematical concepts such as counting, comparing quantities, and recognizing different shapes, sizes, and colours.
