Janmashtami Celebration at Hello Kids Flamingo
Janmashtami Celebration at Hello Kids Flamingo

At Hello Kids Flamingo Preschool, Malad West, festivals become meaningful learning experiences where children learn about Indian culture and traditions through joyful participation. Our Janmashtami celebration was a vibrant blend of learning, creativity, music, and cultural exploration.

The children dressed up as Lord Krishna, Radha, Gopikas and other traditional characters, bringing the festive spirit alive in the preschool. Through songs, role play, stories, and festive activities, our little learners explored the beautiful story and traditions associated with Janmashtami.

The celebration encouraged children to learn about Indian culture, values, mythology and traditions in an age-appropriate and engaging way. Dressing up, participating in group activities, and interacting with their peers also helped develop confidence, communication skills, social interaction and creative expression.

At Hello Kids Flamingo, we believe that celebrating festivals in the classroom helps children understand and appreciate India's rich cultural heritage while creating happy and memorable learning experiences.

Celebrating Culture Through Experiential Learning

Our Janmashtami celebration in preschool reflects our approach to experiential learning—where children learn by seeing, doing, participating and expressing themselves. Such celebrations make learning enjoyable while helping children develop a sense of belonging, respect for traditions and appreciation for diversity.

Hello Kids Flamingo Preschool and Day Care Centre, Malad West continues to create engaging learning experiences that nurture every child's curiosity, confidence and holistic development.
