🐾 What Animals Need – Learning Through STREAM
At Hello Kids Flamingo Preschool & Day Care Centre, our little learners explored the topic “What Animals Need” through our engaging STREAM Learning approach. 🌿🐘🦁
Children discovered that animals need food, water, air, shelter and love & care to live, grow and stay healthy. Through interactive displays, visual learning and hands-on activities, they explored the needs of different animals in a fun and meaningful way.
🔬 Science: Children learned about the basic needs of animals—food, water, air and shelter.
💻 Technology: They explored different animals through engaging pictures and educational videos.
📖 Reading: Children learned and identified new vocabulary related to animals and their needs.
🏗️ Engineering: They created simple shelters and habitats for animals using different materials.
🎨 Art: Creative activities such as making colourful animal masks encouraged imagination and self-expression.
🔢 Mathematics: Children practised counting and sorting different animals while developing early mathematical skills.
Through this activity, our young learners understood the importance of caring for animals and respecting all living beings. 💚✨
